The Crum Creek Viaduct, originally a pre-Civil War era five-span timber arch truss rail bridge on tall masonry piers, was re-built in 1895 as a steel viaduct with the line electrified in the late 1920s by the Pennsylvania Railroad.

Supply 1,614,587ft² of Pitchmastic PmB spray applied structural waterproofing to Beuharnois Bridge, St Lawrence River Bridge and was used to waterproof Soulanges tunnel.

New Jersey’s Transit rail bridges are currently under refurbishment. This is a time-consuming project since the materials used must be specially chosen to ensure the job is ‘right first time’ to prevent any future disruption to the operation of the railway.

This contract demonstrates the superior capability of Pitchmastic PmB spray applied elastomer to effectively waterproof an irregular profile and, at the same time, cost-effectively cope easily with an unevenly textured concrete substrate.
